Who: Calling In Sick

What: I know it seems like things have gotten pretty slow around here, it’s been a little hectic moving to the new site. But now that we’re here, it’s time to get to it, and we aim to blast you with some more good tunes.

Calling in all the way from Australia, these two Sydney kids have a couple of remixes that’ll make more than just the beat drop. Calling In Sick have been dropping jaws and pumping out that good sound for a while now, and it’s pure goodness. The Heartache/Cujo remix is funky as all hell, and while a lot of people think “72 Virgins” mix and head straight for Bloody Beetroots, these guys have you standing on the shore watching a tidal wave of sound build and build and build and crash right in your face. Just about as cool as chewing a piece of 5 Gum. But we’ll let you be the judge of that. Check it out.
