Who: Passion Pit
What: The stutter step intro to Chairlift’s “Bruises” locks it up right away. These guys slow it down and rotate it right back up to give “Bruises” a whole new attitude without ever getting too far away from the original. Passion Pit has such a good ear for bouncing beats and filtering synths, you just have to trust them on this.
