Who: Surkin

What: After checking out “Chrome Knight“, it’s kind of hard not to be immediately drawn to this Parisian’s flow; Surkin has been building it up and gaining some momentum with four tracks on his Next Of Kin EP (pick it up at Beatport), as well as with his Gloves Off Mix. A lot of Surkin’s style leans back towards the older, sleeker techno/rave sound with brightly-developed melodies, and because of it, his shit has exploded across the face of the blog world. The sound is a fresh return, and whether we’re in for a climate shift of sonic proportions towards the tech/rave vibe or not, these are some tracks that you DO NOT want to miss.
