What: No, they didn’t really burn it down. But they did rock the living hell out of it when they played live on November 24th last year. Now, Grand Crew has thrown the high quality vid of the whole show up on their site, along with a half dozen other exclusive shows from around the area. I go to the school these guys met at and I’m a fan myself. I’ve never, however, seen them live or heard any live stuff.
Pretty interesting, not a huge fan, though, it’s a little slow if you ask me
I kinda have to agree. I think they’re absolutely killin’ it in the studio and they set the standard pretty damn high. But because their songs are all about layering and mixing so many different tracks, it’s just kinda hard to bring that into a live setting, especially with only two dudes. Now, if they had an entire orchestra… they’d slay crowds.
I agree with Stephen, when I saw them live it wasn’t very good. There are too many layers on the record to make a really good live show (with two people).
